Introduction to the Inner Journey

This free live webinar offers a clear, hands-on introduction to the Inner Journey onsite event. It is designed for anyone curious about the work and wanting to understand the intention, structure, and experience before deciding to join an onsite format.

You will get an inside look at how the Inner Journey is designed, what participants work with, and what kind of inner processes it invites. Through a live demonstration, you will experience how metaFox visual coaching tools are used in practice, using images as prompts for reflection, insight, and personal meaning.

No prior experience is needed. The session is open to curious minds who want to sense whether this approach resonates with them. There is no obligation to join the onsite event; if it feels aligned, you will simply receive details on the next steps and upcoming dates.

Supporting people development since 2018

Since 2018, our tools have helped professionals support deeper reflection, clearer expression, and more meaningful connection in their work with others. In 2024, our deep pictures sets are recognized as the leading product in the space of picture cards by Europäische Trainingspreis. This recognition motivates us to continue building tools across different topics and formats; physical products, digital tools, and onsite workshops where people learn how to work with these tools to make their sessions meaningful and impactful.

Above all, the development process was quick and uncomplicated for us. It only took 3 weeks from the idea to the print-ready (digital) card set. This was also due to the proactivity and pragmatism with which Tobi and his team approached the project, as well as the quick coordination in between.

We already had the questions in mind. Thanks to metaFox's preparation on a digital whiteboard, we were able to transfer the questions very quickly and supplement them with suitable images for the reflection cards.

I primarily used the card set in my work with clients whose focus is often strongly on deficits.

The clients were asked to select cards with strengths they already possess and lay them out in front of them.

Subsequently, further cards were selected that represent strengths they would like to develop or expand (goal setting).

By laying out the cards, the large number of existing positive strengths was literally made visible. This led to an immediate increase in self-efficacy and a shift in focus away from problems and towards problem-solving skills.

In conclusion, this card set is an excellent tool for experiential, strengths-based work in occupational therapy. It promotes self-reflection, boosts self-esteem, and is a wonderful starting point for
motivational work and goal-oriented action planning. A clear recommendation for all therapists who want to work in a resource-oriented way.

"Stronger You" Coaching Cards

I use it right now in almost every consultation, one woman was really impressed how she picked the adequate cards that reflected her resources that she had forgotten during a stressful situation. I also used it in a Resilience Workshop with teachers from a secondary school in Bonn and they worked really well as inspiration for group work! Likewise, I give the set to my clients and let them pick the cards they like - also this simple intervention always creates new ideas and mostly, the revival of old resources!

Our facilitators are able to use the cards in conducting an activity aimed at crafting individual vision statements, rooted in powerful imagery, to catalyze a culture of inclusivity, mutual support, and trust. We have found that metaFox's coaching cards provide a practical and innovative approach to supporting transformational systems change in educational and organizational settings.

I used the “Stronger You” card set today in the ZERA course (Connection between Illness, Rehabilitation & Work) in the Strengths and Weaknesses subprogram. There was a great exchange. Assigning a strength to the other participants was also very lively and bonding. Balm for the soul – really great!

I use the deep pictures of metaFox to gather associations of my participants on a workshop topic. Using the images, I experience time and time again that participants share their thoughts much more concretely. Especially academics tend to hide their feelings behind fancy phrases; through working with images, we bring their thoughts to the ground and talk straight.
