And What Else? is a deck of 52 beautifully designed cards holding more than 200 open questions.  Each card gently guides you from a big-picture question into deeper reflection, one layer at a time, until you reach a genuine a-ha moment.

Use it on your own as a daily reflection ritual, with a partner or friends to spark a real conversation, or in your sessions as a coaching and facilitation tool. There are no right or wrong answers here, only the next question worth asking.

Why coaches keep it on the table:

  • 200+ open questions across six themes: Explore Curiously, Clarify Decisions, Empower Action, Shift Perspectives, Honor Yourself and Foster Trust.
  • A simple front-to-back method on every card that moves you from a broad question to a specific insight.
  • Endlessly reusable: a lasting professional tool for years of sessions, not a one-time read.
  • Beautifully made and pocket-friendly, so a good question can travel with you.

For

coaches, facilitators, therapists, counselors, educators, team leaders, and anyone who values self-reflection

Package contents

The deck was co-authored with Stephen Nock, an ICF-accredited coach and the founder of &joy Coaching, a Berlin-based coaching and facilitation practice. Stephen knows the realities of high- pressure, fast-moving environments and the challenge of creating meaningful moments at work and in life.

His calm, mindful approach runs through every card, supporting people to navigate change with clarity and confidence, and reminding us that we are human beings, not human doings.

Turn quiet minutes into meaningful reflection, engaging and insightful conversation

In a coaching or reflective conversation, the right question is not always easy to find in the moment.

Talk can stay on the surface, reflection can feel unfocused without a clear starting point, and a blank page can feel like a lot.

A general pack of conversation-starter cards may not go far past small talk.

The questions in this deck are adapted from professional coaching practice and arranged in a sequence, from a broad opening question to more focused follow-ups, so each card works as a short, structured path rather than a single random prompt.

The follow-ups are written to invite another answer, and then another.

How the cards can make an impact in your sessions

Coaches

use it to offer a new angle when a conversation stalls, or to close with a forward-looking question

Therapists & Counselor

use it to offer open, non-leading prompts that let clients explore at their own pace

Facilitators & Trainers

place the deck on the table in workshops and invite each participant to choose a question for group dialogue and shared reflection

Individuals

use one card a day for self-reflection or journaling, on your own or with a partner

Every card follows the same four steps

Explore

Read the front of the card, let the theme frame your thinking, and answer the opening question broadly.

Center

Flip the card and focus on a single, simple answer to one clear follow up question.

Shift

Zoom out and look at the same situation from a different perspective.

Evolve

Ask "And what else?" and keep going for additional answers and perspectives.

There are no right or wrong answers. If a question does not land, you can reframe it or draw another.

What users say about “And What Else?”

& What Else? are a beautiful invitation into profound self-reflection; whether you’re journaling solo or sharing meaningful conversation with someone close to you. Simple, accessible, and deeply layered, they gently guide you into insights you never imagined possible without a coach or therapist present!

It‘s a self-reflection tool that can mimic a coaching session, questions that a coach would ask. I enjoy going through each question. It would feel like a missed opportunity if I don‘t work through all of them.

Carolina Isenberg
Marketing Program Manager

We’ve tried a few other card decks. I think the questions in those are quite simple, so you can quickly answer and move on. The And What Else? cards have questions with a lot more depth.

Nanditha Gopi
Community Manager

These questions have helped me to have a better, clearer direction I want to go. Journaling about these questions helps me to embrace my reality and be more open and be grateful for all the bonuses, the cherries on top.

We really loved our experience using them as a couple (taking turns picking a card, answering it on our own and then discussing with partner), this was a good hour and a half event and we only went through 3 cards each!
