Event Cancellation Policy

Applies to bookings for programmes run by metaFox GmbH, in person and online, such as The Inner Journey and Visual Online Coach (VOC).

1. Cancelling your seat

Please cancel in writing, by email to hallo@metafox.eu. The date we receive your email counts.

  • 30 days or more before the first day: you pay nothing. We refund everything you paid.
  • 29 to 14 days before the first day: you pay 50% of the programme fee.
  • Less than 14 days before the first day, or no-show: you pay 100% of the programme fee.

2. Sending someone else

You can name another person to take your seat at any time before the first day, at no cost. Tell us their name and email. They receive the certificate.

3. If we cancel or change the programme

  • Each edition needs a minimum number of participants, shown on the event page. If we do not reach it, we cancel at least 4 weeks before the first day.
  • We can also cancel for reasons we cannot control, such as illness of the facilitator, loss of the venue or a failure of the online platform. We tell you as soon as we know.
  • If we cancel, you choose: a full refund of everything you paid, or a free move to another edition.
  • We can change the daily times, a facilitator, the venue within the same city (in person) or the video platform (online), if the programme stays the same in content and length.
  • For in-person events, we do not pay travel or accommodation costs if we cancel, except where we acted with intent or gross negligence. Book refundable travel where you can.

4. Payment in instalments

If you pay in instalments, the amounts in section 1 still apply. We set off what you already paid against what you owe. If you paid more, we refund the rest. If you paid less, the open amount stays due.

5. Refunds

We refund within 14 days, to the payment method you used.

6. Your statutory rights

If you book as a consumer, your statutory right of withdrawal stays in place and comes before this policy. This policy does not limit any other right you have by law.
